Friday night, we have invited back LaB favorite, Gordon Webster to start off the weekend. Saturday night’s music will be provided by Barbone Street Jazz Band, Philly’s own world-class New Orleans jazz band.
All day on Saturday and Sunday, we’ll be hosting classes with Lindy and blues greats Mike Roberts and Laura Glaess. Mike and Laura hail from Austin, TX, and they are known for their infectiously joyous dancing and their engaging, musicality-focused classes. All classes are appropriate for beginner/intermediate level Lindy Hop and blues dancers. If you are not yet familiar with the basics of both dance forms, we recommend you attend our introductory classes at LaB, and sign up for future workshops!
Important Parking Update!
Street parking is scarce near the Ethical Society Building, but LaB attendees will receive a discount rate of $6/day (starting after 6PM on Friday) at the EZPark lot at 21st St. and Chestnut St. Ask at the registration table to have your ticket validated.Summary schedule (Full Schedule):
