DJs:
Mike Legett
Mike's love of blues and jazz has been obsessive for some time, and once she started running a weekly blues dance out of her home in Atlanta in 2008, she committed herself to the art of DJing. She has since gone on to DJ sets around the country, from Austin to San Francisco to Boston. She prides herself on providing a variety of styles and eras in each of her sets, and strives to create a sound that is both unique and inspiring; she also aspires to expose people to new music, and to challenge their dancing.
Mike Thibualt
Mike has been DJing swing and jazz music for over ten years, starting out on the air at RIT's Swing Show in 1998. Since then, he has gone on to spin tunes for dancers at exchanges, dances and workshops all over North America, and is known for building up the energy of any dance floor. He is a fixture at late nights in Swing Out New Hampshire and the famous Lindy Compound in Rochester, NY.
Allen Kerr
Allen has been ravenously collecting music since 2005 and has a knack for finding music that delights, inspires, and keeps dancers on the floor way past their bedtimes. When he's not delighting dancers locally in his current home of San Francisco, he's keeping social and competitive dance floors brimming with energy at national events. Allen continues to be invited to DJ events including the International Lindy Hop Championships (ILHC), Lindy Focus, Eastern Balboa Championships, Twin Cities Balboa Festival, and All Balboa Weekend.
Mike Marcotte
For the last eight years, Mike Marcotte has been a DJ hailing from Washington DC. Whether it has been as the house DJ at K2 Dance Studio, putting together Sunday Blues at Glen Echo with his partner Donna Barker, to The Jam Cellar and beyond, he's always trying to keep the floor rocking. He was honored to have been selected to be among the DJs at the Frankie95 Birthday Festival in NYC. He has served as a competition DJ for several years at Swing Fling, The Virginia State Open, and the American Lindy Hop Championships and served as the head DJ for the inaugural International Lindy Hop Championships.
