Gaby Cook (photo by Todd Hobert) is a dancer, choreographer and teacher of all things vintage jazz. She started dancing lindy hop and balboa in the summer of 2004. Since then, she has traveled all over the world to compete, perform and teach. She holds national titles in lindy hop, balboa and solo jazz. Gaby teaches both in Seattle and in workshops across the country. She is an passionate solo jazz dancer and the artistic lead for the all-female dance troupe Sister Kate, and my own production company, Starlets, Harlots & Dames. She regularly teaches and competes with party-time aficionado, Mikey Pedroza.
Mikey Pedroza (photo by Bobby Bonsey) is a powerhouse of a dancer in the world of swing, having competed, performed and taught American Jazz dances (Lindy Hop, Charleston, Balboa, Slow Drag, Blues, and Authentic Jazz) throughout the United States and the world. Earning international acclaim for his impeccable style and technical precision. His classes focus on developing individual style and a confident connection through proper lead/follow techniques, rhythm, and body awareness. His vigor for the dance can only be overshadowed by the joy and self-confidence Mikey inspires in his students.
